Research areas focus on the design, chemical synthesis and biological evaluation of molecules of therapeutic interest. Interest is also focused on the physicochemical properties of new compounds.

Other research entities belonging to the Faculty of Medicine are cross-disciplinary and also rely on collaboration with UCL Godinne University Hospital within the Namur Institute for Life Sciences (Narilis) research institute.

NAB-X Biobank

As part of its university missions, the Department of Pharmacy has developed a structure, the NAB-X Biobank enabling human body material and in particular plasma and serum to be stored in optimal conditions in order to promote medical research.
