Community Life Service (VéCU): role and missions
The University Community Life Service (VéCU), formerly known as the "Social Sector", welcomes, informs and assists students to help them integrate and develop during their stay at the University.
To fulfil its missions, the VéCU is organised into different services focusing on 2 areas:
- Living together: carrying out actions that contribute to the well-being of members of the university community, offering services to the university community, supporting and promoting the involvement of members of the UNamur community in societal projects;
- Student Experience: providing social and psychological assistance to students, providing information to the community and supporting student activities based on recognised structures (AGEs, circles, regions, project dormitories, culture, sports) or projects run by students wishing to get involved.
