Doctorates are offered by all faculties at UNamur and can lead to a career in research or a professorship at a university. Each year, we accept more than 300 doctoral students.

T h e p r o g r a m m e
Doctoral training (60 credits) brings together the leading specialists from all French-speaking Belgian universities.
Research work leads to the preparation and writing of your doctoral thesis, in close collaboration with your supervisor(s), as part of a research team and in contact with the international scientific community.
Two doctoral orientation commissions are responsible for endorsing the various stages of our PhD programmes within the framework of the university’s doctoral regulations.
