Modèle de formulaire standard (Annexe 1)
This page is addressed to foreign doctoral students who are in one of the following situations and concerns a new document required for visa, residence permit or residence permit extension applications.
1. You need to apply for a visa
The Embassy may ask you for a MODÈLE DE FORMULAIRE STANDARD (Annexe 1). As soon as you are registered for a PhD at UNamur, you can request this document by writing to: inscriptions@unamur.be.
2. You are going to arrive in Belgium, you already have your visa or you are exempted from it, and you will have to submit a first application for a residence permit
The local administration will ask you for a MODÈLE DE FORMULAIRE STANDARD (Annexe 1). As soon as you are registered for a PhD at UNamur, you can request this document by writing to: inscriptions@unamur.be.
You must submit this document to the City Hall, in paper format and in its original version (no scans or photocopies).
3. You are in Belgium and have already submitted your first application for a residence permit
The local administration has asked you for a MODÈLE DE FORMULAIRE STANDARD (Annexe 1). If you are a doctoral student at UNamur, you can request this document by writing to: inscriptions@unamur.be.
You must submit this document to the City Hall, in paper form and in its original version (no scans or photocopies). You can bring it when you will go there to finalise your registration and order the residence card.
4. You must apply for an extension of your residence permit
The local administration will ask you for a MODÈLE DE FORMULAIRE STANDARD (Annexe 1). As soon as you are registered or re-registered as a PhD student at UNamur, you can request this document by writing to: inscriptions@unamur.be.
You will also be asked for a CERTIFICATE OF PROGRESS OF YOUR STUDIES. Your supervisor must write a short note on the progress of your doctoral research and give it to you.
You must submit these documents to the City Hall, in paper form and in their original version (no scans or photocopies).
