The annual marauding at the old orchard

Each year, UNamur proposes a day of activities around a marauding at the old orchard of the Haugimont Estate.
Reinette de France, Belle Fleur, Petit Bon Pommier, Cwastresse, Court Pendu, Gueule de Mouton... are some of the 25 old varieties of apples of the orchard located in the beautiful Samson valley and cultivated without pesticides at least since its acquisition by the University. Owned by UNamur since 1978, these 600 80-year-old trees represent a rare biotope where the university's sheep and lambs graze harmoniously.
