The course aims to help students (whose mother tongue is not German) to reach the level of a user at level B1/B2 according to the CEFR criteria.
This course aims to deepen students’ knowledge of the German grammar by treating questions that have not been covered in detail in the "Introduction to the German Language" (LALLB105) and "German Linguistics" (LALLB101) courses (e. g. use of the subjunctive, syntax of German, etc.).
The course deals with grammatical questions that have not been covered in detail in the "Introduction to the German Language" (LALLB105) and "German Linguistics" (LALLB101) courses (e. g. use of the subjunctive, syntax of German, etc.).
The theory proposed in the course is complemented by many exercises. In addition, the teaching assistant and the teaching assistant ensure that students have the opportunity to further train the skills acquired in the first year.
The exercises are devoted to the application of grammar and, especially in the second semester, to phraseology.
German linguistics [LALLB101]
Interactive course. The course is completed by many exercises.
1. Written exam concerning Q1 (= 75% of the final mark). The terms and criteria for evaluation are described in a separate document that is available on WebCampus; they will be commented on by the professor.
4. Permanent evaluation Q1 & Q2 (= 25% of the final mark). The practical organization of the tests and the assessment procedures are described in a separate document that is available on WebCampus and that will be commented on by the person(s) responsible for the exercises.
A syllabuses and PowerPoint presentations with summaries of the theory and a range of exercises will be made available to students.
