Euraxess

The Euraxess programme aims to increase the attractiveness of Europe for researchers. A project in which our University has been involved since 2012. This European initiative aims to :

  • promote and facilitate the mobility of researchers;
  • help researchers develop their careers;
  • to optimise collaboration between Europe and the world;
  • help researchers refugees to find a job in Europe.

 

The 4 axis of Euraxess are : 

  • Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) : Promoting an approach of excellence requires the creation of an environment favourable to research, to the training and career of researchers and to their mobility. Today, a researcher can submit an application for European or Walloon funding thanks to this label. 
  • Open, transparent, and Merit based Recruitment (OTM-R) : in order to promote the development of research excellence at UNamur, it is essential to have a quality recruitment procedure for researchers and to support them throughout their careers.
  • Euraxess Services : Information and administrative assistance on mobility of the researcher and his/her family (housing, insurance, creche, school, jobs)

  • Euraxess Jobs : an Online platform of job postings and funding opportunities for researchers
  • Euraxess Links : a Network of European researchers based outside Europe
