To support its efforts to provide digital tools and innovative teaching methods, the School of Law has launched a sponsorship program for the chairs in its library. These chairs symbolically represent the generations of students who sit there each year to become the lawyers who will shape the world of tomorrow. 

Supporting the Training of Young Legal Professionals

The UNamur Law Library is, in fact, a laboratory for young legal professionals—their preferred place for research and study. It is also a place open to everyone, with more than 24,000 visitors per year, over 50,000 searches in legal databases annually, and more than 20,000 books available… By sponsoring a chair and personalizing it with your name or your company’s name, you are supporting the education of tomorrow’s legal professionals.

How do I do that?

Would you like to make a personal donation? 

  • Please send your donation of 150 € or more via bank transfer to the UNamur account BE92 3500 0000 0123, specifying the following in the memo line: DON + 5847850 + right
  • Make a donation online  
  • Please contact Ms. Morgane Belin, Head of Philanthropy, to let her know how you’d like your name to appear on your chair: morgane.belin@unamur.be (tel.: 081/72 50 36). 

Donations made to UNamur are eligible for a 45% tax deduction and will result in the issuance of a tax receipt.

Would you like to sponsor a chair in the name of your practice or company? 

  • Corporate sponsorship is subject to a VAT invoice (€150 + 21% VAT) issued by UNamur. To finalize your sponsorship, simply make the payment based on the invoice we will send you.
  • Please contact Ms. Morgane Belin at morgane.belin@unamur.be (tel. 081/72 50 36) to finalize your sponsorship and discuss the details of customizing your chair. 

Sponsorship expenses are tax-deductible as business expenses.
