Assessment method

A written text has to be provided on WebCampus for the first day oh th session. The work is then presented at the end of the session with a 20 minutes presentation followed by a question session.

The evaluation criteria considered by the jury are:

For the written report:

  • Quality of presentation (writing style, spelling, figures, tables)

  • Integration of the topic into a broader context or issue

  • Structure and coherence (grouping of related ideas, development of clear lines of reasoning)

  • Conciseness and precision (ability to synthesize information, avoidance of repetitions and generalities, use of precise and clear examples)

  • Conclusion and discussion of future perspectives

For the oral presentation:

  • Clarity of the presentation materials and speech

  • Confidence and ease in oral delivery

  • Structure (objectives, introduction, results, discussion, and conclusion)

  • Teaching and communication skills

  • Depth of analysis of the topic

  • Critical perspective and ability to step back from the topic

  • Motivation

  • Answers to questions (confidence, relevance, accuracy, and breadth of general knowledge)
