Understanding the basic rules of European competition law
Knowing how to apply these rules to the digital sector

In addition, cases relating to competition law in the digital field are the subject of case studies and discussions/debates with students.
I. Introduction and Main concepts
II. Abuses of dominant position: Article 102 TFEU
III. Anti-competitive agreements: Article 101 TFEU

The course combines lectures and case studies prepared by students.
During each class, students are encouraged to participate actively in the course.
Class attendance is compulsory.
Assessment is based on
- group analysis of a case study (executive summary with oral presentation, and written report to be submitted to lecturers by email).
- an oral examination, during which students are questioned on the application of competition law in the digital sector and on the content of their written report.
