Short description | We live in an increasingly data-driven world and software has made it wonderfully easy to produce graphs and charts to illustrate almost everthing in your live, but software won´t stop you to make bad graphs. Data visualisation means to turn information into visual elements. The design of graphs is essential to make it readable, understandable and usable. Some visual clues work better than others, a methods that´s completely wrong for one dataset could perfectly fit for another. When a chart is presented properly, information just flows to the viewer in the clearest and most efficent way. We will explore together the do´s and dont´s in the use of colours for data visualisation. |
