Introduction
This Doctoral Interdisciplinary Training School focused on the food and the soft skills.

For three days, from 17 till 19 May 2016, followed one another speakers, experts in various topics about food, and trainers in soft skills. About fifty PhD students and other researchers participated actively in the proposed activities.
During the Poster Session organized for the PhD students, Marie-Ange Angladon (PhD student in Chemistry Department) made the unanimity for the presentation of her poster : she received the price of the UAR as well as that of the PhD students.
Finally, the large public conference given on Wednesday evening by Nicolas Dendoncker about the agriculture gathered more than 200 listeners.
