Self-cleaning properties of TiO2

A drop of water is deposited on Anatase-TiO2 coated stainless steel and illuminated with UV light. After about 10 seconds, the drop flattens due to the photo-activation of the coating. Coatings developped within the Mirage Project. (FLV format)
