Comparative Grand Strategy: a framework and cases
The workshop
This workshop comparatively examines the ways in which a variety of countries that are positioned differently in the global system devise and execute grand strategies - and the consequences of those choices. Beyond the inevitable description of domestic processes, the purpose of these comparisons is to study variance in strategic cohesion, objectives and outcomes both across and within countries.
