Food

The university canteen

The Arsenal, the University of Namur’s canteen, offers fast, quality food in a pleasant atmosphere, adapted to your budget.

The Arsenal takes its role in helping combat global warming seriously, making good use of limited energy and water resources and promoting sustainable food production. It offers good food with a preference for local, seasonal produce that is organic and economically sustainable.

La cafet

Open every day from noon to 1:00pm on the ground floor, La Cafet offers a selection of sandwiches, soups and pasta dishes.

Le resto

On the first floor, the self-service cafeteria is open every day from noon until 1:30pm and offers a wide range of reasonably-priced, healthy options, including soup, a salad bar, daily specials and a vegetarian dish, as well as a regular menu of hot and cold dishes.

The vegetarian dish contains wholefoods of nutritionally higher quality than refined foods, with no additives or chemical residues, and includes cereals, fresh vegetables and a salad with first cold-pressed oil, together with either plant proteins (e.g. pulses, nuts or seeds) or animal proteins (e.g. eggs or cheese).

A reduction of up to 40% is available with your student card.  For more information, please see the Arsenal website.
