The Namur Research college (NARC)
The NARC was created by the UNamur Board in 2012 and aims at a double objective:
- Offer an environment allowing a few outstanding young researchers to devote most of their working time to research, while being preserved from administrative, logistic and other everyday loads.
- Ensure the visibility of salient researchers inside and outside the UNamur.
The NARC Fellows are selected according to their own merits, on the basis of a set of stringent criteria.
The achievements of the fellows are evaluated by independent experts.

2022 NARC FELLOWS
Jérémy Dodeigne (ERC-STG) and Vincent Jacquet (ERC-STG), both members of the Transitions research institute, were awarded a fellowship starting on 1 October 2022 for a period of 2 years.
It's not often that two researchers from the same institution (and the same institute!) are awarded such a prestigious funding.
