Doctors: companies are interested in your skills
A survey conducted by the Euraxess cell among several employers present at the JobFair in Ghent on 27 March 2018, shows that the doctors' skills are highly appreciated and sought after.

Employers surveyed pointed to the following:
- experience in project management;
- high capacity to analyze complex problems;
- thinking skills;
- problem solving skills;
- clarity and effectiveness in oral (client) and written (report) communication;
- maturity;
- research methodology.
ARE THERE SKILLS THAT DOCTORS LACK?
Some companies perceive doctors as being too critical of the work. The constant questioning in research hinders the rapid decision making necessary in companies.
Some qualities pointed out by companies (ability to think and analyse complex problems) pushed to the limit can also turn into handicaps.
