Gap analysis & action plan 2013-2016 to obtain the HR Excellence in Research label

UNamur is committed to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (CC) with a gap analysis in 2012.

An action plan for 2013-2016 has been proposed, targeting specific actions.

The EC then validated the work carried out and awarded the "HR Excellence in Research" label in 2013.

In 2016, UNamur submitted the first self-assessment of actions carried out between 2013 and 2016 to the EC, as well as the second action plan 2016-2019.

UNamur received a positive opinion and recommendations from external experts to assist in the implementation of the articles of the CC.

The University continues to implement its continuous improvement with the action plan 2016-2019.

External evaluation and site visit

In 2019, UNamur is submitting the 2016-2019 Achievements Review and the new HRS4R 2019-2021 Action Plan for evaluation by the EC. A site visit is planned. The visit has been postponed to 2020.

Gap analysis & OTM-R action plan

Since 2019, the EC invites universities to apply for Open, Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment (OTM-R).

The OTM-R procedure guarantees access to jobs on the basis of the personal merits of candidates, opens our universities to both national and international researchers and makes the career of researchers more attractive.

The OTM-R action plan is also submitted to the EC.
