Evaluation systems

Evaluation systems

"Employers and/or funders should introduce evaluation systems for all researchers, including experienced researchers, so that their professional performance is regularly and transparently assessed by an independent (and preferably international in the case of experienced researchers) committee.
These evaluation procedures should take due account of their overall research creativity and research results, e.g. publications, patents, research management, teaching and conferences, supervision, mentoring, national or international collaboration, administrative tasks, public awareness activities and mobility, and should be taken into account in the context of career advancement." (extract from the Charter for European researchers)
