I want to check the quality levels of connection services to the UNamur network and my access to WebCampus and TEAMS
I can do this at any time by clicking on the link https://unamur.statuspage.io
In the 2 hours preceding your exam, go to WebCampus in the course "TEST MY ENVIRONMENT".
I need Teams for exams but never used it
On your UNamur e-mail address, you received an e-mail "no-reply@unamur.be" as soon as you registered, containing your Teams username and your password.
This email will take you to Teams. Favor the Teams application rather than its use on a browser (Webcam and microphone work better on the application).
Don't forget to check your junk mail as well, if you can't find this email.
If you have a problem with your account, contact student support: support.etudiant@unamur.be
I am preparing for my exams and I notice that my internet connection is unreliable?
Contact your internet service provider. In certain cases, it will replace your defective equipment or offer you a configuration and update of this equipment, which can correct a large number of malfunctions and recurring outages.
If no improvement is possible, you can still take your exam at the BUMP by requesting (see text above)
I'm extremely scared of WebCampus being overloaded during my exam
Since May 2020, the server disks have been significantly improved to increase the bearable load on WebCampus. In addition, teachers will not hesitate to provide you with extra time if an overload problem returns.
Each problem noted generates an improvement in the material to allow you to take your exams in comfortable conditions at the platform level.
Where should I settle down to take my exam?
Try to identify the space that might offer you the best match between a quiet environment for the duration of your exams and an internet connection with a correct and constant signal.
If you do not have an environment conducive to exams, you can still take your exam at the BUMP (see text above)
What type of connection should I use?
As much as possible, use a wired connection between your router / modem and your computer. Cables can be purchased easily from the shops.
What if I am not the only one in my home using the internet connection?
Not all exams require a heavy internet connection. Try to plan with your loved ones time slots during which they agree not to put too much strain on the home's internet connection (remember that smartphones, video games and services like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video also use this connection).
The environment I have is not ideal for taking my exams (noise, etc.), what should I do?
The current period can also be favorable to go to another place nearby or to a relative (your “privileged contact”) which could offer you a better framework to take your exams.
If you do not have an environment conducive to exams, you can still take your exam at BUMP by applying (see text above)
Which browser should I use?
Avoid Safari and Internet Explorer (in all cases) and favor Firefox (except for Teams where access to the camera is a problem), Chrome and Edge.
During the exam, I see that the connection is bad, what should I do?
During each assessment, you will have a "Report a problem" button within the WebCampus interface to be able to notify the assessor and the ICT Unit.
After my exam is completed, what if I encountered a problem during my exam?
Describe the problem that arose using the form available in the WebCampus course, by clicking on the “REPORT A PROBLEM” button. Your teacher and the TICE unit will be informed and will react as soon as possible.
