University Library Moretus Plantin
The University library Moretus Plantin may be considered as the central library of the University of Namur. The library regularly shows this or that collection from its rare and old books stock.
For example the stages of natural sciences history have been so recalled and European successive representations of Egyptian world since 1500 have been placed. All those works implicate a lot of investigations and lead to "exhibition catalogues" which are real reference tools about the described subject. In this way essential points of cultural history have been illustrated. On another side the library has to take part with the other University libraries in preparing library and information processing tools for valorizing the available materials.
