MASTER IN PHARMACY

ACCESS UPON ACCEPTANCE

The Master in Pharmacy is organised as a joint degree with the Catholic University of Louvain. The admission requirements are identical in both partner institutions, i.e.:

- Conditions of admissibility:

For non-European degrees, only the application of candidates holding a degree issued by a university recognised by the WHED will be examined.

- Eligibility requirements:

There is no universal rule because of the great diversity of backgrounds and home institutions.

In general, however, typical cases of refusal are students with significantly longer than normal undergraduate backgrounds.

Also typically rejected are profiles with marked deficiencies in core subjects.

Acceptance of the application is also based on other academic criteria, in particular an assessment of:

  • the quality of the applicant's academic record (ranking in the top 20% of the cohort) and their suitability for the Master's programme applied for;
  • the motivation;
  • the demonstration of a sufficient mastery of English (European level B2).

On the basis of the examination of the candidate's achievements, the admission jury may condition access to the Master's programme by adding a complementary course programme, up to 60 credits.
