Sworn translators and authenticated copy of documents

A list of sworn translators is available in the Namur law court ("Palais de Justice") located in front of the Faculty of Medicine ("Place du Palais de Justice").

You can ask for a free copy of the list of sworn translators to and from the requested language.

Authenticated copy of documents

When you have to hand in an authenticated copy of a document, such as a diploma, to any official entity, you need to submit the original and its photocopy to the City Administration, so that they can authenticate the photocopy.

Copies of any documents related to registers of birth or marriage issued by the Registrar cannot be copied and authenticated by the City Administration. Take contact in your city of origin.
