Integration weeks and days
The University of Namur organizes before the fall semester of each academic year, so approximately during the period from Sep1-14, two weeks of integration. Before each winter semester, we organize three days of integration from approximately Feb 1-3. This is done in collaboration with the Pole Académique de Namur, which is network of all higher education institutions in the province of Namur.
The integration weeks (before the fall semester) and the itegration days (before the spring semester) are organized to give incoming students the opportunity to "acclimatize' to their new environment and therefore to get to know the city of Namur and its surroundings before the semester begins. In addition to French and English language classes (during the orientation weeks), the events offer a wide range of social, cultural and touristic activities to help students in that process and are therefore highly recommended and the below testomonies will attest:
