The missions of the Department in Management are threefold : first, to provide students with a strong training in business and management; second, to develop outstanding research in the field ; and, finally, to support firms and organizations in their problem-solving process.

The department manages several educational programs and offers various degrees (e.g.: 5-year master's program in business administration, 5-year program in management engineering, doctorate in business administration).

The course offering is composed of five majors: finance, marketing, organizational behavior and human resource, accounting and control, operations management and technology.

The members of the department are involved in various research projects, especially in finance (Center for Research in Finance and Management, CeReFiM), in organizational behavior (Research Center for Crisis and Conflict Management, ReCCCoM), as well as in marketing and operations management.

Finally, they actively interact with firms and organizations through seminars and consulting projects (e.g., Cora, Fortis, Millipore, Walloon Government).
